Skype, MSN IM, Google Talk, SIP, ICQ, Twitter client on Symbian S60 r3

I'd prefer to avoid to use Skype, but a lot of clients asked me to open an account.
Skype run out of the box (or nearly out of the box) on Debian just on x86 boxes and my main box is an amd64. My notebook is a Dell XPS M1210 and I've Skype installed there, but it is always off when I'm at home and it is not as comfort as using a cordless phone.

As soon as I discovered fring for my Nokia E70 I decided I was going to give it a try.
Nokia E70 has wifi, so I could actually make it a cordless phone inside my home and I could make free calls in international airports that offer free wifi connection and as last resort I could use 3G connection to make international calls.

Putty for Symbian S60 r3

Well nothing new under the sun... but actually just one more link to a good resource for every *nix geek with a Symbian S60 r3 phone: putty for Symbian. But that's not all...

Amarok dropping DB support, MySQLism and melting pot of knowledge

You really have all my understanding but I've noticed that most problems of supporting more than one DB (especially experienced by MySQL devs) comes from ignorance of the standard.
I know it may be a pain to support multiple DB when you really need to squeeze all HPs from a DB and you've to build up complicated queries but: a) MySQL 5.X is supporting more and more features and getting more standard, b) Amarok doesn't look as an application that has to build complicated queries.
If people wold stay far from MySQLism most of the code would work on much more DBs with no effort.

Is KDE 4 an improvement?

When KDE4 will become a product that is worth to use?

I may be missing the big picture, I've been using KDE4 for about 2 weeks for everyday work on sid but I still miss 3.5.
